Steel fixing chargehand • Cayuga County, New York

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Cayuga County, New York. You will be based at a rebar fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman What we are looking for: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules We offer $230 per day plus benefits. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
