Sand plant operator — Platte County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Platte County, Wyoming. Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts You will shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles.
