Urgent requirement: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Kirklees, England. You will work at a boiler and appliance service centre. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration You will set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray.
