Urgent requirement: safety marshal (Minnesota)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety marshal in Becker County, Minnesota. You will work at a manufacturing plant. Requirements: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills On a typical shift you will ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points.
