Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Riley County, Kansas. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Own basic hand tools and PPE On the job you will handle: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits.
