Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Orleans County, New York. You will work on a road and bridge project. Your main tasks: • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified You should have: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds Part-time with flexible hours. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
