Great opportunity: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Yadkin County, North Carolina. The job is on a road construction project. Your main tasks: • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms Ideal candidate: • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems Part-time with flexible hours. $170 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
