Bar bender and fixer wanted in Hartlepool

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Hartlepool, England. You will be based on a busy residential building site. What we are looking for: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Day to day you will lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; assemble column and beam cages on the bench.
