GMAW welder • Echols County, Georgia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Echols County, Georgia. You will be based on a structural steel site. Ideal candidate: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Day-to-day duties: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
