Lift mechanic — Lee County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Lee County, North Carolina. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. Your main tasks: • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway Ideal candidate: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Performance bonus on top of base pay.
