Control panel electrician — Los Alamos County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a control panel electrician in Los Alamos County, New Mexico. You will be based at a commercial shopping complex. What we are looking for: • Valid wireman/electrical licence as required by the state • ITI in electrical trade or wireman certificate • Willing to do shift work and breakdown call-outs Your main tasks: • Test insulation resistance with a megger • Isolate circuits and apply lockout-tagout before working • Carry out preventive maintenance on switchgear and busbars • Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams • Size and route cabling to suit the load current and voltage drop • Fault-find on motor starters and star-delta panels 3+ years on the tools preferred.
