Precision welder • Tama County, Iowa

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a precision welder in Tama County, Iowa. You will work on an industrial construction site. On a typical shift you will control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. You should have: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. We offer $230 per day plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
