Hand presser wanted in Saint John the Baptist Parish

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hand presser in Saint John the Baptist Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a tailoring workshop. Your main tasks: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
