Occupational health and safety officer — Valley County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Valley County, Nebraska. You will work at a manufacturing plant. You will stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height.
