Pressman wanted in Richland Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pressman in Richland Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a garment export house. Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Day to day you will check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; give each garment a final press before packing; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits.
