Now hiring: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Dunn County, Wisconsin. You will work in a hotel or restaurant butchery. The role involves sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; season and marinate meat on request. What we are looking for: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
