Concrete pump mate — Fayette County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Fayette County, Alabama. You will be based on a road and bridge project. On the job you will handle: • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works Overtime paid at a premium rate.
