Health and safety supervisor — Barbour County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Barbour County, West Virginia. The job is in a chemical processing unit. What we are looking for: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Day to day you will ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment.
