Concrete pump mate — Juneau City and Borough

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Juneau City and Borough, Alaska. The job is at a ready-mix concrete plant. Your main tasks: • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins You should have: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience.
