Urgent requirement: CNC milling operator (Minnesota)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Olmsted County, Minnesota. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. What we are looking for: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Day to day you will apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $250 per day plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
