Immediate opening: we are hiring a smash repairer in Hancock County, Iowa. You will work at a busy body shop. On a typical shift you will strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair; mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection; knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly; read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates. What we are looking for: • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
