Immediate opening: retail butcher (Mississippi)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a retail butcher in Lafayette County, Mississippi. Requirements: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate The role involves break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights.
