Shakeout operator • Roberts County, South Dakota

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Roberts County, South Dakota. You will work in the melting bay of a steel foundry. You will apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
