Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Washington County, Mississippi. On the job you will handle: • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse What we are looking for: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
