Power float operator • City of Covington, Virginia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a power float operator in City of Covington, Virginia. On a typical shift you will patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified. What we are looking for: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends.
