Steel erection rigger — Orumba South

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Orumba South, Anambra State. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. The role involves: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Part-time with flexible hours.
