UPVC door and window fabricator — Richland Parish

Great opportunity: we are hiring an uPVC door and window fabricator in Richland Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. Your main tasks: • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square What we are looking for: • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) Meals and transport allowance provided.
