Great opportunity: we are hiring a dogger in Nicholas County, Kentucky. Requirements: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Your main tasks: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
