Precision welder — LaSalle County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a precision welder in LaSalle County, Illinois. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Your main tasks: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run We offer $250 per day plus benefits.
