Shuttering and concrete hand wanted in Wilcox County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Wilcox County, Alabama. Day-to-day duties: • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength What we are looking for: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
