Crane rigger — Somerset County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane rigger in Somerset County, New Jersey. You will be based at a container port. You will carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; read lift plans and method statements before starting; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit. Requirements: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear 4+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
