Abattoir worker wanted in Dyer County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Dyer County, Tennessee. What we are looking for: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Your main tasks: • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
