Concrete shuttering carpenter • Cherokee County, South Carolina

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Cherokee County, South Carolina. You will work at a reinforced concrete building site. You will erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss. Ideal candidate: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level Part-time with flexible hours.
