Port container crane operator — Rio Arriba County

Now hiring: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Rio Arriba County, New Mexico. Your main tasks: • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground Requirements: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
