Now hiring: we are hiring a scaffolder in Midland County, Michigan. You will work on an industrial refinery shutdown. What we are looking for: • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage You will erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner; tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors; inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use; fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform.
