Immediate opening: we are hiring a furniture maker in Charlotte County, Florida. The job is at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. The role involves assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions. Ideal candidate: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Own basic hand tools Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits.
