Machinist — Clinton County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a machinist in Clinton County, Missouri. You will work in a textile and apparel unit. Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Your main tasks: • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish Part-time with flexible hours.
