Gas meter installer wanted in St. Clair County

Join our team: we are hiring a gas meter installer in St. Clair County, Alabama. On a typical shift you will read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply. You should have: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Driving licence for travel between sites • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
