Production line inspector wanted in Otsego County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a production line inspector in Otsego County, New York. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Willing to work rotating and night shifts Day-to-day duties: • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
