Immediate opening: domestic gas engineer (Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Craig County, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces We offer $31 per hour plus benefits.
