Immediate opening: we are hiring a quality checker in Manistee County, Michigan. You will work at a food processing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools Requirements: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
