Immediate opening: we are hiring a cold store insulation technician in Spotsylvania County, Virginia. The job is on a construction site. The role involves fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors. Requirements: • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
