Vacancy available: we are hiring a safety inspector in Medina County, Ohio. The job is in a chemical processing unit. Your main tasks: • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot Rotating shifts. $170 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
