Urgent requirement: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Crockett County, Tennessee. Day to day you will lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
