UPVC door and window fabricator — Sullivan County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an uPVC door and window fabricator in Sullivan County, Indiana. You will work on site fitting windows in new-build flats. Day-to-day duties: • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication Ideal candidate: • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
