Sample machinist — Vermilion County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sample machinist in Vermilion County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation You should have: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
