Finish carpenter • Hamblen County, Tennessee

Great opportunity: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Hamblen County, Tennessee. You will work at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. Your main tasks: • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops Requirements: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work Full-time, day shift. Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
