Now hiring: we are hiring a cold room technician in Kalamazoo County, Michigan. On the job you will handle: • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Clean condenser and evaporator coils • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter Requirements: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
