Machinist — Grant County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a machinist in Grant County, Oklahoma. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. Ideal candidate: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching On a typical shift you will thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
