Great opportunity: we are hiring a marble cutter in City of Alexandria, Virginia. You will be based at a kitchen worktop showroom. On a typical shift you will polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound; fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin; grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish; grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets; level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • Good eye for joints, levels and overall finish Part-time with flexible hours.
